.what's new.
- June 1st, 2010 - Whew! We made it to Memorial Day! I guess that means it's summer... Don't forget, our new location is just on the north side of US HWY 34 on the way to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park (just like our old location, only on the other side of the street). Make sure and stop in if you're passing through. As always we're adding new suppliers all of the time to make sure that we have the latest, greatest, and LARGEST selection of GF goodies (unlike some of those grocery chains who think they can be "everything to everybody"!).
- March 3rd, 2010 - Let's see: "in like a lamb..." Uh oh, that doesn't bode well for the rest of the month does it?? Well, as we count down the last few days until spring we've got visions of green shamrock cookies and all kinds of Easter treats dancing in our heads (all gluten-free of course!). As always, we're fully stocked for all of your springtime culinary projects. A few new items to highlight: First of all, we are VERY excited about a whole new line of breads and muffins from Loveland's very own Canyon Bakehouse. This is a brand new company which is producing some amazing stuff, such as a rosemary thyme focaccia, 7-grain and cinnamon raisin loaves, and "Cranberry Canyon Crunch" muffins. We also have some new frozen pizza dough rounds, and (finally!) flour tortillas from French Meadow Bakeries. Stop in and check them out!
- February 10, 2010 - Feeling sweet about your sweetie?? We can think of no better way to surprise your loved one(s) for Valentine's Day than to load them up with a basketfull of gluten-free treats. If you're feeling especially ambitious you might even want to bake up your own Valentine's cake or cookies. Either way, we have everything you need, from the ingredients to the recipes themselves. Stop on by (or give us a call)!
- January 6, 2010* - Happy New Year!! Thank all of you for your patronage during 2009; we look forward to a healthy and prosperous 2010 for all of us! Just a quick update of some new items: We now are carrying Glutenfreeda instant oatmeal as well as several varieties of their frozen burritos (in store only for the frozen items).
- December 9, 2009 - Merry Christmas! We're stuffed to the gills with all of the best new GF goodies, along with your old favorites. So, if Santa needs a little help, he (or Mrs. Claus) should probably stop by! We've even got some gift bags pre-made with great assortments of products--perfect for your last minute gift giving ideas.....We've also been checking our web product list twice (a bit overdue, we're afraid!), and we've added some of our newest inventory items. If you're stuck somewhere far away from our retail store, we'd be happy to ship in time for the holidays. We hope you have a peaceful and blessed holiday season, and a very happy new year!
- October 20, 2009 - ...and now we remember why we hate moving! The good news is that we're in the new location, and ready to go. Now that we have so much more room inside (and out), we'll be adding a lot of new stuff over the next several months. Keep checking the web site or stopping by the store. A case in point: with the cooler evenings rolling in (just starting to snow as we type this) we're featuring a new selection of hearty soups and chilis to cut that winter chill. All gluten free of course!
- October 10, 2009 - Here we go! Granny's will be closed Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 12-13) to complete our move. Starting 9 am on Wednesday the 14th, we'll be reopening at our brand new location. If you're on our mailing list check your email for a special offer to celebrate the event! We'll be keeping our same hours (Mon-Sat 9-6), so stop on by!
- September 17, 2009 - REALLY BIG NEWS... We're moving!! Effective Wednesday October 14th we will be moving one mile due east (and closer to town). Our new address will be 3419 W. Eisenhower. We'll be in a great building on the NORTH side of the street, with plenty of extra parking. Some landmarks: we'll be just west of Dicken's Alley antiques and books, and almost directly across the street from Perfect Teeth. If you're heading west out of Loveland and get to La Quinta without seeing us, turn around...we're about 1/4 mile back to the east. We're really looking forward to our new location; in addition to the aformentioned better parking, we'll also have a lot more space to showcase some of your old favorite products, as well as room to add many more new ones! We're keeping our same phone number, so if you're having trouble finding us give us a call (970-669-9986).
- August 25, 2009 - End of summer sale... Buy one get one free on "Let's Do" GF ice cream cones! Check our product ordering page for price info. Another new item is Cherrybrook Kitchen's ready to spread vanilla frosting. Pick one up to finish your next GF cake.
- August 14, 2009 - Wow...it's hard to believe that the summer's almost gone! We've been very busy meeting all kinds of new friends, many out on vacation to the Rockies. We hope you remember to check in here after you head back home for an easy way to order some of your favorite foods from us. As always, we keep adding to our selection. Some recent additions: Kind fruit & nut bars (from Australia); Better Balance protein cereals (soy, corn, and tapioca) from Kay's Naturals. Also, we've greatly expanded our lineup from Nunna the Gluten bakery from Fort Collins. Stop by the store and try these great fresh goodies. Breads will be delivered each Monday, and cookies and muffins will arrive each Thursday.
- April 29, 2009 - In our ongoing quest to find the best local independent GF producers, we're now proud to introduce a brand new line of fresh-baked breads from Nunna The Gluten Bakery in Fort Collins! Stop by the store to experience these for yourself. Here's just some of what you'll find: white bread loaves...french bread loaves & baguettes...chocolate chocolate-chip muffins... and more to come! These show up every Monday morning, and they do go quickly...
- April 15, 2009 - Now that you've finished your taxes (you ARE done, aren't you??) stop on by our retail location in Loveland. We're doing our best to ease your pain by featuring a brand new line of frozen baked goods from Udi's gluten-free bakery in Denver. We've got some absolutely amazing frozen cinnamon rolls, blueberry and lemon streusel muffins, as well as several varieties of breads. If variety truly is the spice of life, we're getting spicier by the day!
- March 24, 2009 - New stuff! We're now carrying the full line of oat (and of course gluten)-free granolas from Bakery On Main. Yummy stuff - five different flavors of GF goodness! And in the spirit of the spring nesting season, we've got "Sticks 'n Twigs" snack mix from Mary's Gone Crackers (tastes much better than it sounds, we promise!). These aren't yet listed on our online product list, but feel free to mention them on your email/fax/phone order, and we'll speed them to you. Hope to see you soon!
- March 3, 2009 - Spring forward (is it really that time again??) Back by popular demand Granny's is returning to our "summer" hours. Starting next Monday, the 9th, we'll be open 9 am 'til 6 pm Monday-Saturday. That's one more hour for you to stop by and stock up on all your favorites!
- February 25, 2009 - One step forward... It appears that the increased demand was a little more than our friends at the Outside The Breadbox bakery were ready for. Despite their best intentions they have had to scale back their deliveries until they can get a new group of bakers trained. So this means that we will continue to get our standard huge delivery of fresh breads and rolls on Thursdays (as before), but that it may be a little later this spring before they're ready to offer twice weekly deliveries. Don't worry though, we always keep fresh-frozen breads and rolls on hand to tide you over.
- January 28, 2009 - FINALLY! We are proud to announce twice weekly deliveries of fresh bread in our retail store from the fabulous Outside the Breadbox bakery. We now will have yummy fresh baked goods on both Mondays and Thursdays (after 2 pm). This is something we've been working on for months, so we're really looking forward to making this available to you!

January 1, 2009 - Happy New Year! We are so thankful and blessed by your continued business. Here's to a great and healthy 2009 for all of us! A few items of note: First of all we just discovered that our fax number was incorrect on our printable fax order form. (Oops!) Sorry for that--if you previously tried to fax in an order and wondered why it just rang and rang, well now you know! Please feel free to try again with the now correct information. Also, starting this week we will be operating under our winter hours (Monday - Saturday 9 am to 5 pm). Lastly, what update would be complete without drawing your attention to a few of our new items? We've got some great new GF cook and reference books to make it easier and tastier to live gluten free. Also we've got some very tasty Nutty Cranberry Maple Granola from Bakery on Main, as well as a new line of cake & cookie/pancake & waffle mixes that in addition to being GF (of course), are also egg, dairy, and sugar free! ...So drop us a line, call, or especially stop by! We'll be here...

These are a completely organic dehydrated fruit leather, but unlike most commercial varieties, these are free of any artificial sweeteners or additives.
